The Tea Party was a huge success. After serving about 40-50 cream teas many people bought our home made cakes which had been made by several ladies in the village.
Ben, the fund raising agent from S.A.R.S. (Suffolk Accident Rescue Service) also came with his wife and two children and was very pleased to see so many people attending.
At the end of the day we raised about £250 with more donations pledged. I shall be leaving the funds open for another week for anybody who would still like to donate. I have also put up a Thank You note on the village green notice board.
