Who are these people?? I acquired these photos quite a long time ago but I forget who from. I believe they all related to Occold, possibly The Causeway and possibly some connection to Walter William HUNT, KIA 1917.

Some have names on the reverse which I have included for verification. I have also included any other information which I think may be relevant and will update this if any thing comes to light..

Information Florence Rose HAMMOND, married Walter William HUNT, 1913. Three children - male (b 1914, still born), Albert George (b 1915) and Gladys Ruby (b 1917). Walter KIA 1917. Florence re-married Arthur PLOWMAN, 1927 and had 1 child Ena A (b 1930). Florence was sister of George HAMMOND, KIA 1917.

Information Gladys Ruby HUNT (b 1917), half-sister to Ena PLOWMAN. Married Harold Verdun CORBYN, 1935. Four children - Cyril V (b 1934, before Gladys/Harold marriage?), Margaret M (b 1936), Victor (b 1941) and Christine A (b 1946).

In the background is St Michaels so the photo looks like it was taken on the croquet lawn at the Old Rectory. Looking at the clothing styles, we would guess the photo was taken around 1910-1920. If so, the couple depicted would be the Rev Herbert Edward Champion MARSHALL (Rector of Occold, 1908-1939) and his wife Nina Blanche BROOK. Herbert was born 1864 and Nina 1873 which would make their ages about right in the photo
