There were two known pubs in Occold, The Beaconsfield Arms, still open and The Bottles Inn, latterly The Threee Bottles, which closed in 1956. Their location is shown on the above Ordnance Survey map, dated 1889.
We've heard various rumours that there may have been other pubs in Occold but, to date, we have found no evidence to support such rumours.
