The Parish Council received the resignation of Alison Davenport Jones at last weeks meeting. Sadly for the Council, Alison is moving away and will therefore no longer be eligible to be an Occold Councillor.
She has done a lot of work in the time she has been with us on the Council and she will be sorely missed but the whole Council wish her the very best of luck in her new village.

Therefore we have a vacancy which will be advertised after the statutory period outlined below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
That a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council caused by the resignation of Alison Davenport Jones.
If, by 25 November 2021(14 working days after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 31 January 2021
